Mean 10 meters height wind speed derived from more than 7500 ENVISAT images acquired in Wide Swath Mode from 2005 to 2009. The Resolution of the wind is given at 0.025 degrees.

Local analysis

Taking benefit of the very high resolution of the L2 wind products (950 m), the same kind of statistical analysis can be performed at any given point where SAR images are available. Hereafter, the analysis is performed at the location of Horns Rev wind farm.
